The Guild welcomes donations of both cash and non-cash assets like marketable securities – made both directly and through Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) – and non-cash items like woodworking and other equipment.
For non-cash items, the Guild recommends a brief telephone or email conversation to discuss your preferences and to outline the process of transferring assets like stocks, bonds, other DAF holdings and personal property.
Donations specifically earmarked for the Jimmy Carter Woodworking Education Center may additionally include substantial commitments to real estate, scholarship endowment funding, component naming rights (e.g. class-room or equipment notations) and other donor advised bequeaths.
